The Forensic Scientific Laboratory (FSL) on Tuesday filed its report to the police station Baramulla confirming the police claim of presence of addictive substance in the capsules seized by the police last month.

The Director FSL Inayatullah Khan when contacted by Kashmir News Service (KNS) confirmed that the laboratory recently received the capsules and was asked to find the addictive substances present in them. “We have sent our findings to the police.”

Sources have revealed to KNS that the FSL has found the presence of narcotic substances in the capsules and the lab in its report that has been sent to the police, has stated that the excessive usage of the capsules can cause the addiction towards the drug.

KNS has also learnt from its realisable sources that the Baramulla Police station has registered the First Information Report (FIR) 341/13 under section 8/22. Police has also detained one person in the case and is expected to act further after the reception of the FSL report about the capsules.
