SRINAGAR: A full dress rehearsal for the Independence Day celebrations was held at Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar on Thursday, with security personnel, police contingents and other participating teams taking part in the preparations for the August 15 function.
Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Anshul Garg oversaw the rehearsal as officials assessed arrangements for the Union Territory-level Independence Day programme.
The participating contingents conducted the ceremonial parade and other planned activities as part of the final run-through ahead of the main event.
