People in Pampore town on Friday offered the Namaz-e-Jinaza in absentia for the two Lashkar-e-Toiba militants who were killed in a brief shootout with forces in Nowgam area of Srinagar city last evening, reports said.
LeT Commander Abu Ismail and his aide Abu Qasim were killed in Aribagh area of Nowgam in Srinagar.
Reports said that hundreds of people offered funeral prayers in absentia for the slain militants at Khanqah-e-Moalla Pampore after the Friday prayers culminated.
They also raised by raising pro-freedom and pro-militant slogans.
