Ganderbal Police Transfers 12 Officers, Orders Fresh Postings

   

SRINAGAR: The Ganderbal Police have ordered the transfer and posting of 12 officers with immediate effect as part of an administrative reshuffle in the district.

According to an order issued by the District Police Headquarters Ganderbal on Wednesday, Inspector Ranbeer Singh has been transferred from DPL Ganderbal and posted as SHO Kheer Bhawani, while Inspector Sajjad Assad has been moved from SHO Police Station Ganderbal to SHO Police Station Kangan.

Inspector Afaq Majid Wani, who was serving as SHO Police Station Kheer Bhawani, has been posted as in-charge DSB, while Inspector Younis Khan has been shifted from SHO Police Station Kangan and posted as in-charge ESU and SOG camps.

Inspector Waseem Gull has been transferred from DPL Ganderbal and posted as SHO Police Station Ganderbal.

Among the sub-inspectors, Shahbir Ahmad has been moved from DPL Ganderbal to SOG Ganderbal, while PSI Jameel Ahmed has been posted as in-charge Police Post Gultibagh from SOG Ganderbal.

PSI Reyaz Ahmad has been transferred from SHO Police Station Sonamarg and posted to Police Station Ganderbal, while PSI Irfan Behl has been posted as SHO Police Station Safapora from in-charge Police Post Gultibagh.

PSI Rayees Ahmad has been transferred from Police Station Gund and posted as SHO Police Station Sonamarg. PSI Irfan Ahmad has been moved from Police Station Kangan to SHO Police Station Lar.

SI Gulzar Ahmad Kumar has been transferred from DPL Ganderbal and posted as SHO Police Station Gund.

The order, issued by Senior Superintendent of Police Ganderbal Sudhanshu Dhama, also directs two DySP (Probationers), Rakesh Singh and Sanjeev Kumar, to be detached from their respective police stations—Lar and Safapora—and report to the District Police Office Ganderbal for further practical training upon completion of their posting as Station House Officers.

All the transferred officers have been directed to report at their new places of posting by August 21.
