Hurriyat (g) chairperson, Syed Ali Geelani and his deputy, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai were again barred from Friday congregational prayers today.
A Hurriyat (g) statement said this evening, “It is 100th day of house detention of Geelani sahib; he was not allowed to offer mandatory Friday prayers today.” “It is his 14th Friday that he could not attend Friday congregational prayers.”
The statement said that Geelani’s lifetime associate and Tehreek-i-Hurriyat General Secretary, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai was placed under house detention and was not allowed to offer Friday prayers.
