Geelani’s son returns after round 3, says not asked to come again

SRINAGAR: Separatist leader Syed Ali Geelani’s younger son Naseem Geelani, a teacher with the SKUAST, has returned home after the third round of his probing by the NIA. This round continued for two days.

Alhamdulillah reached back home safely after appearing for 3rd round of questioning at NIA,” Geelani junior wrote on his facebook wall. “No further appearing.”

Some media reports quoted him saying that the NIA checked all his documents during the three rounds of investigations.

NIA is probing terror funding in J&K. It has arrested various separatists as it summons individuals for probing and investigations. After investihgations, some of the “witnesses” were asked not to again. It included Mian Abdul Qayoom, a senior lawyer.
