The residents of Summa Tatta Paani, Rajouri Tuesday held a protest demonstration against the “kidnapping” of a local girl.
The protestors alleged that nephew of a local PDP MLA Choudhary Qamar Ali is behind “this crime”.
Identified as Sanam Ara, she has allegedly been abducted by Liyaqat Ali, 20.
“The abductor is a goon and kidnapped the girl in broad day light from the main market on April 7, 2016,” they said.
Since then, the residents said, “there has been no clue of the girl.”
A case under FIR No. 26/20/16 under 363/109RPC has been registered in this regard in police station Rajouri.
But, the protestors claimed that MLA Qamar Ali is using his political powers to shield his nephew.
