SRINAGAR: Gold prices declined in India on Friday, with the price of the precious metal falling to Rs 12,501.02 per gram, according to data compiled by FXStreet.
The price was down from Rs 12,578.45 per gram recorded on Thursday, reflecting a day-on-day decline.
Gold prices also eased in terms of the traditional tola unit, with the rate falling to Rs 145,809.30 per tola from Rs 146,712.60 a day earlier.
The latest decline comes amid fluctuations in global bullion markets, with domestic gold prices tracking international trends and movements in the rupee-dollar exchange rate.
