SRINAGAR: Gold prices rose by Rs 115 to Rs 1,62,997 per 10 grams in futures trade on Wednesday, supported by firm spot demand and fresh positions taken by market participants, analysts said.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the gold contract for October delivery gained Rs 115, or 0.07 per cent, to trade at Rs 1,62,997 per 10 grams. The contract recorded a business turnover of 674 lots.
