The district administration Bandipora on Wednesday ordered the closure of several higher institutions on Thursday.
Deputy Commissioner Bandipora said that all Higher Secondary schools, High school Bagh and Degree College Sumbal and Bandipora shall remain closed tomorrow.
Similarly, district administration Ganderbal has ordered the closure of Government Degree College Ganderbal and Kangan on Thursday.
“The colleges in Ganderbal ditrict will remain closed for any class work on Thursday,” said Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal Dr Piyush Singhla.
Meanwhile, authorities in Baramulla also have ordered the closure of all educational institutions in Baramulla district tomorrow.
An official said that all the educational institutions in the district will remain closed tomorrow.
The step has been taken to prevent student protests against the killing of Lashkar commander Abu Dujana in a gunfight with government forces in Pulwama yesterday.
