Multiple rounds of funeral prayers were held in Kokernag village of district Islamabad on Monday for slain militant identified as Syed Owais who was killed during an encounter between the government forces and militants in Hakoora village of South Kashmir’s Islamabad district.
Reports said that four rounds of funeral prayers were held for Owais at his ancestral graveyard in Kokernag village and pro-freedom and pro-Islamic slogans were raised by the mourners during his funeral.
Meanwhile, the youth of the area have assembled near the slain militant’s residence shouting anti-governmental slogans against his killing.
