“It has been observed that many hospitals are operating with insufficient staff. We are committed to addressing these vacancies in the coming days,” Dar said.

The minister emphasised the need for holistic development across sectors such as health, agriculture, horticulture, and infrastructure. He called for expediting ongoing and new developmental projects while enhancing public awareness of government schemes.

Regarding the regularisation of employees, Dar clarified that although no fixed timeline exists, the process is underway and will be addressed.

Responding to concerns over the delayed construction of the Mazbug Bridge near Sopore’s Fruit Mandi, he expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to residents. “I don’t know the reasons for the delay, but I assure you that the bridge will be completed in the coming months to ease the hardships faced by the people,” he said, stressing the importance of follow-ups to ensure project completion.

Dar also criticised incomplete projects being marked as finished on paper, urging better accountability and execution at the grassroots level.

He reiterated the government’s commitment to the restoration of Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood, describing it as a priority. “Statehood restoration is a public demand, and the government is actively working on it. We are hopeful of achieving it soon,” he affirmed.
