Militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen Saturday claimed that responsibility of ‘rifle snatching’ incident and said that it’s fighters after overpowering an Indian policeman managed to escape from the scene along with his service rifle.

Hizb spokesperson, Burhan Ud Din told CNS, “the rifle snatching incidents is an ample proof that the freedom struggle is indigenous in nature and Kashmiri fighters don’t cross the border to get arms from Pakistan.” “India has been defaming Kashmir freedom struggle and has also been levelling allegations against Pakistan that it supplies arms to Kashmiri militants. Now, it has become clear that Kashmiri militants don’t get arms from Pakistan but snatch them from Indian forces personnel,” he said.

He said, “the militants will continue their efforts to snatch more and more rifles from the Indian forces.”
