Expressing profound grief and deep sorrow over the death of mother of woman pro-freedom leader and chief of Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) Syedah Asiya Andrabi, Chairperson All Parties Hurriyat Conference (g) Syed Ali Geelani prayed for peace to the deceased soul while as Tehreek-e-Hurriyat General Secretary Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai, personal secretary to chairperson Peer Saifullah, Chief Organizer APHC (g) Altaf Ahmad Shah, district president for Srinagar and Ganderbal Raja Mehraj-ud-din, Abdul Hameed Magray, Syed Imtiyaz Hyder, Mohammad Afzal Lone, son of chairperson: Dr Nayeem-u-Zaffar Geelani; and Ashiq Hussain Sofi participated in the funeral prayers of the deceased lady.
Geelani expressed his sympathy and condolence with Syedah Asiya Andrabi and other family members and prayed for the Jannah to the departed soul, Hurriyat (g) statement said this evening.
Meanwhile Hurriyat Conference (g) Secretary General (II) Haji Ghulam Nabi Sumji and Hurriyat spokesperson Ayaz Akbar also expressed their condolence with the family of Asiya Andrabi.
