The identification of the militant killed on Tuesday in a brief shooting in South Kashmir’s Pulwama is being ascertained.
A Police spokesperson said, “we are ascertaining the identity of the militant killed in Awantipora this evening.”
Earlier this evening, the militant body was reported to be identified as that of Irshad Ahmad Ganaie. “A resident of Koil Pulwama, reports had said that Ganaie was twenty days older Lashkar-i-Toiba militant.” the reports had said.
