The Imam Hussain (AS) Foundation, which runs a hospital at Hamdaniya Colony Bemina Srinagar has shown its yearly income as on March 31, 2013 as Rs 16702028.00 and expenditure as Rs 11753084.70.
As per the balance sheet released by the Foundation, the trust was having an outstanding loan of Rs 2, 94, 79, 715.00 as on March 31, 2012 , which compromises of principal amount of Rs 2, 31, 98, 559.00 and an interest amount of Rs 62, 81, 156. 00 according to the book of accounts of the trust. But the trust has informed that the said liability is no longer payable to J&K Bank Limited and the entire liability has been treated as gain on settlement.
