Shopian
A contractor in South Kashmir’s Shopian district was arrested by police for allegedly killing a labourer in an accident.
According to reports, contractor Mohammad Amin Kandoo lost control over his Wagon R (JK04A-2030) in main bazaar Shopian and crushed a labourer to death. The deceased was identified as Shakil Ahmed Dar son of Ghulam Hassan Dar resident of Chogalpora, Noorabad.
Police arrested the contractor and registered a case vide FIR number 42/2013 under section 302 of RPC.
