The J&K Board of School Education had announced the results of Higher Secondary Part two Annual Examination 2012 for Kargil with a success rate of only 24 per cent.

As compared to Kashmir and Jammu regions, the deficit in Pass Percentage continuous to be more than 24 per cent for Kargil region.
Among eighteen Government Higher Secondary School in Kargil, Akchamal Higher Secondary School has failed to score while Government Higher Secondary School Barsoo, Sankoo, Shargole and Yurbaltak is credited with below 9 per cent and rest other nine higher secondary Schools are with less than 40 per cent result.
