SRINAGAR: Amidst a severe drought in the valley, ‘Salatul Istisqa’ took place at Jamia Masjid in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district. The prayers aimed to bring an end to the unprecedented dry spell in Kashmir, described by experts as highly alarming.
Numerous worshippers gathered, beseeching relief from the drought-like conditions. The Auqaf emphasized the importance of seeking Allah’s help during trials, urging the community to repent for sins.
The Anjuman Auqaf highlighted the significance of turning to Allah and seeking His intervention through supplications in times of adversity.
