Forces on Thursday launched a cordon and search operation in Chill Brass village in Arizal area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Reports said the heavy deployment of forces was made in the village.
An official said that search operation was launched in Bunpora locality of the village around 10 am.
He said a joint operation was launched by the army, police and the CRPF after inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Forces were conducting house-to-house searches when the last reports came.
