SRINAGAR: In a heartfelt tribute to its pensioners, J&K Bank marked National Pensioners Day on December 17 across all its branches, with a series of initiatives aimed at fostering deeper connections with this valued segment of customers, a bank spokesman said.
As part of its commitment to their well-being, the Bank sent celebratory SMS messages to all pensioners, offering a gesture of goodwill. Many branches also hosted special Pensioners’ Meets, which included family pensioners, providing an opportunity for them to join in the celebration.
During these interactions, Bank officials engaged warmly with the pensioners, extending their greetings, listening to their feedback, and addressing any concerns. They also provided information on various banking products and services tailored to enhance financial convenience for the senior community, with a focus on cross-selling and custom solutions.
At a special function held at the Shalamar Branch in Jammu, General Manager and Divisional Head (Jammu) Sunit Kumar inaugurated a dedicated pension counter on the ground floor. This new facility aligns with RBI guidelines, ensuring a comfortable and efficient service experience for pensioners.
In addition, the Bank launched a nostalgic video series titled ‘Yadoon Ki Jama Poonji’ on its social media platforms. This series serves as a heartfelt tribute to the Bank’s long-standing bond with pensioners, former staff, and customers, reflecting a legacy built on trust, commitment, and mutual respect.
