SRINAGAR: Security forces launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) across several villages in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir following reports of suspicious movement, officials said.
The operation was initiated after security agencies received credible inputs regarding the presence of suspected individuals in the upper reaches of the Surankote subdivision, officials said.
Multiple operational teams have been deployed to the area and are carrying out searches at several locations as part of the ongoing operation.
