SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Forest Department has ordered the deployment of two foresters in an administrative reshuffle aimed at ensuring the effective utilisation of manpower.
According to an office order issued by the Office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) and Head of Forest Force (HoFF), Tajamul Islam, Forester, who was posted at the Kashmir Forest Training (KFT) School, Chittarnar, has been deployed to the Urban Forestry Division, Srinagar, with immediate effect until further orders.
In a corresponding move, Altaf Hussain Khan, Forester, presently posted in the Special Forest Division, Tangmarg, has been deployed to the KFT School, Chittarnar, for further duties.
The order states that both officials will continue to draw their salaries from their respective parent Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs)/Divisional Forest Officers (DFOs), subject to the production of active duty certificates issued by the DFOs of the divisions or offices where they are deployed.
