SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has posted Imtiyaz Ahmad Pandit as Executive Officer of the Municipal Committee, Handwara, relieving Shahid Yousuf Bhat of the additional charge of the post.
The Housing and Urban Development Department issued the order on September 17 under Government Order No. 195-JK(HUD) of 2026.
Pandit, who was awaiting orders of adjustment in the Directorate of Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir, has been assigned the Handwara post with immediate effect, according to the government order.
With the latest posting, Bhat, who is Executive Officer of the Municipal Council, Kupwara, has been relieved of the additional responsibility of serving as Executive Officer of the Municipal Committee, Handwara.
