SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Saturday accorded administrative approval for two parking infrastructure projects in Jammu at a combined cost of Rs 49.34 crore.
The approved projects include a Parking-cum-Commercial Complex at Parade and a multilevel car parking facility at SMGS Hospital, the Office of the Chief Minister said.
The projects are aimed at improving parking facilities, reducing traffic congestion and supporting planned urban development in Jammu, while providing greater convenience to the public.
The government said the infrastructure projects would provide modern parking facilities at the two locations and help address parking-related pressures in the city.
