SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has approved the promotion, confirmation and regularisation of engineers serving in the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC).
According to an order issued by the Housing and Urban Development Department, the decision follows recommendations of the UT-Level Departmental Promotion Committee of the JMC.
Under the order, Er Firdous Ahmad Qazi has been elevated to the post of Executive Engineer with effect from June 30, 2010. He has also been confirmed and further promoted as Superintending Engineer/Joint Commissioner (Works) with effect from July 12, 2024.
In a separate decision, Er Janak Singh has been promoted to the post of Executive Engineer with effect from July 12, 2024.
