Jammu Kashmir Govt Confirms Probation of 22 Junior Scale JKAS Officers

   

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has confirmed the satisfactory completion of probation of 22 Junior Scale officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS), according to an order issued by the General Administration Department on Tuesday.

Government Order No. 1498-JK(GAD) of 2026, dated September 8, orders that the officers appointed through various government orders issued between 2015 and 2020 shall be deemed to have satisfactorily completed their probation.

The order was issued in relaxation of provisions of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956, the Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive Services (Probation and Examination) Rules, 2000, and the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service Rules, 2008.

The officers include one member of the 2015 batch, 20 from the 2019 batch and one from the 2020 batch.

The 2015-batch officer is Iftakhar Ahmed. The 2019 batch comprises Anjum Bashir Khan Khattak, Syed Muiz Qadri, Anamul Maqbool, Niamatullah Sheikh, Adnan Tariq, Saqib Murtaza, Manjeet Singh, Jahid Azad, Mohammad Arif Shah, Shakeel Ahmed, Bashir Ahmad Malik, Imtiyaz Ahmad Lone, Shakil Ahmad Bhat, Hakeem Aaqib Javid, Javid Iqbal, Saima Ramzan, Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, Tanzeel Ul Rehman, Mohammad Aarif Sheikh and Aamina Lateef.

Gazi Abdullah belongs to the 2020 batch.
