SRINAGAR: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday issued Government Order No. 461-JK(GAD) of 2026, sanctioning the formation of a committee to monitor and oversee the implementation of the Jammu and Kashmir Road Safety Policy-2025 across the Union Territory.
The committee will be chaired by the Administrative Secretary of the Public Works (R and B) Department. Other members include the Administrative Secretary of the Transport Department, the Inspector General of Police (Traffic, JK), and the Transport Commissioner of JK, who will also serve as the committee’s secretary.
