SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has nominated 20 officers of the School Education Department to collect district-wise Human Resource Management (HRM) data and other allied information across the Union Territory, in a move aimed at streamlining manpower-related records and administrative planning.
The nominations were approved through Government Order No. 283-JK (Edu) of 2026, issued by the School Education Department. The order states that the officers will collect HRM and related data from their respective allotted districts in accordance with the prescribed format enclosed as Annexure-A.
Under the order, G.R. Mir, JKAS, Special Secretary to the Government, has been assigned Srinagar, while Kulbhushan Kumar, JKAS, Director Finance, will oversee Udhampur. Parshotam Kumar, Director Planning, has been allotted Doda, and M.A. Banday, JKAS, Additional Secretary to the Government, has been assigned Ramban.
The government has nominated Ashok Kumar, JKAS, Additional Secretary, for Anantnag; Syed Ahmad Kataria, JKAS, Additional Secretary, for Bandipora; Hakim Tanveer Ahmed, JKAS, Joint Director, North Kashmir Division, for Baramulla; and Syed Shabir Ahmed, JKAS, Joint Director, Central Kashmir Division, for Budgam.
Further, Gurdev Kumar, JKAS, Joint Director, Jammu/Samba/Kathua Range, has been assigned Jammu; Jagdish Chander Mehra, JKAS, Joint Director, Udhampur/Reasi Range, will cover Reasi; Mohd Ashfaq, JKAS, Joint Director, Doda/Ramban/Kishtwar Range, has been allotted Kishtwar; while Rahouf Ahmad, Additional Secretary (Legal), will collect data from Rajouri.
The remaining nominations include Hakim Riyaz-ul-Haq, JKAS, Deputy Secretary to the Government, for Kupwara; Dr Iqbal Hussain Mir, JKAS, Personal Officer, Directorate of School Education, Kashmir, for Shopian; Deep Novel Kour, JKAS, Deputy Secretary to the Government, for Kathua; Braham Raj, JKAS, Deputy Secretary to the Government, for Pulwama; Mohd Ismail, Deputy Director, Planning, for Poonch; Deepika Sharma, JKAS, Under Secretary to the Government, for Samba; Thannaji Bhat, Under Secretary to the Government, for Ganderbal; and Mohan Singh, Under Secretary to the Government, for Kulgam.
