Jammu Kashmir Govt Orders Transfer of Six Officials

   

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday ordered the transfer and posting of six officers of the J&K Secretariat (Subordinate) Service as part of an administrative reshuffle aimed at streamlining departmental functioning.

According to Government Order No. 1317-JK(GAD) of 2026, issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), the transfers have been made with immediate effect in the interest of administration.

As per the order, Section Officer Mohammad Amin Mir has been shifted from the Jal Shakti Department to the Department of Public Grievances, while Sandeep Gupta, also a Section Officer, has been transferred from the Labour and Employment Department to the Skill Development Department.

Section Officer Zamroodah Akhter has been moved from the Department of Public Grievances to the Information Technology Department. Anku Chowra, serving in the Labour and Employment Department, has been transferred to the Tribal Affairs Department.

Similarly, Section Officer Ulfat Jan has been shifted from the Hospitality and Protocol Department to the Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction. In-charge Section Officer Mohammad Ayoub Ganaie has been transferred from the Forest, Ecology and Environment Department to the Agriculture Production Department.

The order stated that all the officers concerned shall be deemed to have been relieved from their present places of posting with immediate effect to enable them to join their new assignments.
