SRINAGAR: The High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh has declared August 26, Wednesday, as a holiday and December 19, Saturday, as a working day for the court.
According to a notification issued by the Registrar General of the High Court, August 25, Tuesday, which was shown as a holiday on account of Eid-i-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), has been declared a “non-sitting day” for the High Court. In lieu of this, August 26 has been declared a holiday.
The notification further said December 19, which had earlier been declared a non-sitting day under High Court Order No. 1313 of 2026/RG/NG-15(I) dated June 19, 2026, will now be observed as a “working day” for the High Court in lieu of August 25.
