SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly will convene on Monday at 10:30 am for a crucial session that includes the election of the Assembly Speaker.
Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Cooperatives, and Election, Javid Ahmed Dar, will move a motion proposing Advocate Abdul Rahim Rather as the Speaker candidate.
This motion will be seconded by Member Arjun Singh Raju.
The session will also feature an address by the Lieutenant Governor, scheduled for 11:30 am.
