SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today honoured the legacies of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya on the occasion of their birth anniversaries. Speaking at a commemorative event held at Pt Madan Mohan Malaviya Inter College in Ghazipur, Sinha described the two leaders as embodying the conscience of Bharat, whose visionary contributions continue to inspire the nation.

Highlighting Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya’s role in shaping modern India, the Lieutenant Governor praised his dedication to public welfare and nation-building. “Mahamana’s relentless efforts created the foundation for a self-reliant, modern, and united India. His vision expanded the horizons of education, technology, and industrial development in the country,” Sinha remarked.
Paying homage to Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Sinha reflected on the former Prime Minister’s lifelong commitment to national progress. He emphasised Vajpayee’s principles of “Indianisation” and “Nation-First,” which continue to serve as guiding values for ensuring the nation’s unity and self-reliance.
Calling upon the youth to uphold the ideals of both leaders, Sinha urged them to work towards building a progressive and united society. “We must draw inspiration from history to build a brighter future. Unity is our greatest strength, and the younger generation must lead the way by uniting society with determination,” he said.
The Lieutenant Governor also underscored the importance of technology and community participation in enhancing governance and public services. He stressed the need for a “Whole of Government Approach” to achieve socio-economic transformation and foster transparency and accountability.
“Every individual must adopt a sense of responsibility, steadfastness towards duties, and a firm determination for nation-building. Our cultural values should guide us in shaping a new political and economic framework for a brighter tomorrow,” Sinha concluded.
