SRINAGAR: The District Police Headquarters Reasi on Saturday ordered the transfer and posting of 13 police officers, including several inspectors, with immediate effect in the interest of administration.
According to Order No. 349 of 2026, issued by Senior Superintendent of Police Reasi Mukund Tibrewal, IPS, new Station House Officers (SHOs) have been appointed at Arnas, Katra, Mahore, Reasi and Chassana police stations.
Inspector Sureshwar Dev Singh, who was posted at DPL Reasi, has been transferred and posted as SHO Police Station Arnas. Inspector Sanjeet Sharma has been posted as SHO Police Station Katra, while Inspector Surjeet Kumar has been appointed SHO Police Station Mahore.
Inspector Achal Rana has been posted as SHO Police Station Reasi and Inspector Charanjeet Singh as SHO Police Station Chassana.
The order also directed the transfer of two Deputy Superintendents of Police on probation following the completion of their practical training as SHOs. DySP (Prob) Ms Ujala, who was undergoing practical training at Police Station Mahore, has been transferred to DPL Reasi. DySP (Prob) Ms Madhvi Raina, who completed her practical training at Police Station Arnas, has also been posted to DPL Reasi.
Inspector Altaf Hussain has been transferred from DPL Reasi and posted as In-charge DSB Reasi, while Inspector Jahangir Ahmed has been shifted from DPL Reasi to PCR Reasi as In-charge.
Jahangir Ahmed will also function as the Investigating Officer of Cyber Police Station Reasi, the order said.
Inspector Purab Singh has been transferred from DSB Reasi to DPL Reasi. Inspector Ranjeet Singh, previously posted at Police Station Katra, Inspector Jeet Singh from Police Station Chassana and Inspector Khayati Maan Khajuria from Police Station Reasi have also been transferred to DPL Reasi.
The order directed all the officers concerned to be relieved forthwith.
The transfers and postings were ordered by SSP Reasi Mukund Tibrewal, IPS, on August 29.
