SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the immediate transfer and posting of a large number of engineers in the Power Development Department (PDD) as part of administrative arrangements for the smooth functioning of official work.
The transfers and postings were ordered under Government Order No. 181-JK(PDD) of 2026, dated August 20, 2026, issued by Ashwani Kumar, IAS, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), PDD.
Among the officers holding the charge of Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE), Anita Devi has been posted as Technical Officer (T.O.) to the Executive Engineer, ED-II, JPDCL, while Mohammad Rafiq Rather has been posted as T.O. to the Executive Engineer, ED-III, KPDCL, Srinagar.
Raja Imran Ali Khan (ST) has been transferred to SD-Hawal, ED-IV, KPDCL, and Mohammad Ayoob Bhat to SD-Tral, ED-Awantipora, KPDCL. Ajay Kumar has been posted to SD-Vijaypur, ED-Vijaypur, JPDCL, while Gulshan Toga (SC) has been posted to SD-Akhnoor, ED-III, JPDCL.
Shakoor Ahmad Bhat has been transferred to SD-II, TLMD-II (Awantipora), JKPTCL, Kashmir. Mohd Iqbal Mir has been posted to SD-North, Electric Central Store Division, KPDCL, while Aadil Mehraj Wani has been posted to SD-II, ED-Sopore, KPDCL.
Mohammad Imran Farooq has been posted to SD-Store/T.O., ED-II, KPDCL, while Mir, I/c AEE, has been posted as T.O. to the Executive Engineer, ED-Anantnag, Kulgam, KPDCL.
Rayees Ahmad Malla, I/c AEE, has been transferred to SD-Banihal, Batote, JPDCL. Syed Anees Ur Rehman, I/c AEE, has been posted to SD-(Technical Section) Pulwama, STD-SD-Pampore, ED-Awantipora, Pulwama, KPDCL.
