Jammu Kashmir: Three Teenagers Missing Since August 1, Families Appeal for Help

   

SRINAGAR: Three teenagers from Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir have been missing since August 1 after they were reportedly last seen together in Jammu, prompting their families to appeal to the public for information about their whereabouts.

The missing teenagers have been identified as Aqib Ali Danish, 19, son of Mohammad Lateef of Kahara Bitola, Thathri; Sameer Ahmed, 17, son of Asif Muneer of Kahara Trankhal, Thathri; and Saib Arfat, 16, son of Yasir Arfat of Kahara Trankhal, Thathri.

According to their families, the three were last seen at around 8 pm on August 1 in the Javed Nagar-Nikki Tawi area of Jammu. Their whereabouts remain unknown despite efforts by their relatives and police.

After the teenagers failed to return home, their families contacted the police and reported them missing. Separate FIRs were registered on August 4 at Police Station Thathri in Doda district and Police Station Satwari in Jammu district.

Police teams have launched an investigation to trace the teenagers and are examining available CCTV footage and other leads to determine their whereabouts.

The families have urged anyone with information that could help locate the three teenagers to come forward and assist in ensuring their safe return.
