SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Transport Department has cancelled the motor vehicle aggregator licence of M/s ANI Technologies Private Limited, popularly known as OLA, with immediate effect, officials said on Monday.
The cancellation order was issued by Transport Commissioner Vishesh Paul Mahajan, revoking licence No. 0001 granted to the company for operating aggregator services in the Union Territory.
According to the order, the action was taken after an inspection found the company’s registered branch office in Jammu to be non-functional and non-traceable.
Officials said the inspection revealed that the office was not operating from the registered location, prompting the department to revoke the licence under the applicable regulatory provisions.
The order takes immediate effect, effectively barring the company from operating as a licensed motor vehicle aggregator in Jammu and Kashmir unless fresh compliance requirements are met.
