SRINAGAR: A militant affiliated with Jaish-e-Muhammad militant outfit was killed in a operation in Nowgam Shahabad Dooru area in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday, an official said.
An official said that militant affiliated Jaish-e-Mohammed has been killed in the encounter.

He said that the two army men and a policemen were injured in the initial exchange of firing during an encounter.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces in Nowgam Shahabad, Dooru village of Anantnag district.
