SRINAGAR: Two more militants were killed in an encounter with the counter-insurgent forces in Nowgam Shahbad Dooru area of north Kashmir’s Anantnag district taking the death toll of militants to three, police said.
An official said that two more militants were killed in the gunfight in Nowgam Shahbad Dooru area of Anantnag district.

He added that the slain militants were affiliated with Jaish e Muhammad.
The search operation is on in the area and further details are awaited.
Earlier, police had said that one militant was killed in the encounter at Nowgam Shahbad Dooru area of Anantnag.
