SRINAGAR: In response to the ongoing situation in the Middle East, the Divisional Administration Kashmir has established a dedicated Control Room at the DC Office Srinagar to assist families of students currently studying in Iran.
Officials said that parents and guardians can share the details of their wards through the designated helpline numbers. The landline contacts are 0194-2483651, 0194-2457543, and 0194-2457552. A WhatsApp helpline is also available at +91-9103998355. The administration has urged concerned families to remain in touch and utilise the helpline services for necessary assistance.
Meanwhile, District Police Anantnag has also established a help line for students, workers, or individuals from the district who may be stranded in Iran. In a statement, police said that those in need of support or their family members may contact the PCR Anantnag at 9596777669 or 9419051940. The information collected will be forwarded to the appropriate authorities for further necessary action.
Officials reiterated their commitment to ensuring all possible assistance to affected residents and their families.
