People who have had interactions with the Secretariat of Board of Directors of J&K Bank must be knowing a cool young man Sair Khanyari, who knew everything except ‘no’, is no more.
41 years young Khanyari, a resident of Safa Kadal was a computer operator but, over the years, had evolved a vital person in the Board. Despite working in the bank’s highest pressure zone, sometimes without sleeping for many nights, he might have never skipped a prayer and never regretted his job profile.
Sair had gone to Haj this year. He returned on October 29. Exactly a month later, he lays buried. His last face book update was a picture of his outing around Srinagar.
Shocked colleagues said he was feeling unwell and was rushed to hospital on Wednesday. Doctors admitted his there for jaundice. Today forenoon, he was declared dead.
Sair is survived by a young wife and two sons, the eldest being the student of ninth standard.
Hundreds of J&K Bank employees were seen part of the funeral. Later in the afternoon, the entire management and executive ranks of the bank visited the bereaved family.
