SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered a reshuffle of Block Development Officers (BDOs) and officers holding equivalent posts across multiple districts with immediate effect.
The order, issued by the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj orders transfer and posting of more than 30 officers.
According to the order, Latief Hussain Shah has been transferred from Block Tral, where he also held additional charge of Block Kakapora, to Block Reddi Chowkibal in Kupwara. Saima Ramzan, BDO Pampore, will now hold additional charge of Block Kakapora. Khurshid Ahmad Lone has been moved from Reddi Chowkibal to Block Achabal in Anantnag. Maqbool Ahmad, who held charge of Achabal and Sagam, has been posted to BDO Headquarters Samba to work with ACP Samba.
Tilak Raj Sharma has been transferred from HQ Samba to Block Kharah Balli in Jammu. Shafia Maqbool from Block Srinagar has been directed to report to the Director, Rural Development, Kashmir. Farman-ul-Din, previously posted at Paranpillan, will now serve at Block Batote in Ramban, with Aijaz Ahmad Mirchal, BDO Uri, holding additional charge of Paranpillan.
Kavita Bindhwal has been moved from Block Batote to BDO Headquarters Doda. Naved Altaf has been transferred from Block Qaziabad to Narwah in Baramulla. Laila Khalid has been shifted from Narwah to Block Newa in Pulwama. Irshad Ahmad Wani will take additional charge of Block Wailoo while continuing at Khaipora. Ashfaq Ahmad has been transferred from Block Rajgarh to Block Gundana in Doda, replacing Ramesh Chander, who has been asked to report to COO HIMAYAT in Jammu.
Mohd Sudfer Bhat has been moved from Block Litter (Lassipora) to Kalarose in Kupwara. Hitesh Kumar Lona will now serve at Block Bani in Kathua, replacing Rajesh Padha, who will take charge of Block Palmar in Kishtwar. Zahid Rashid Mughal has been transferred from Palmar to Inderwal, while Joginder Lal moves from Nagrota Gujroo in Kathua to Block Ghagwal in Samba. Abdul Rashid Khawaja, earlier at Ghagwal, has been asked to report to MD SPSA, with salary to be drawn against an equivalent post.
Firdous Ahmad Kamal, previously with the JK Rural Livelihood Mission, will report to CEO IWMP. Amit Singh, earlier posted at Block Gandhi in Ramban, has been shifted to JK Rural Livelihood Mission. Anjana Sudan, from Block Nagrota, will report to the Director General, Rural Sanitation, Jammu.
Azhar Khan has been moved from Block Tikri in Udhampur to Block Nagrota in Jammu. Dheeraj Sharma has been transferred from Block Barmoti to Block Tikri. Sunil Dogra, BDO Kathua, will hold additional charge of Barmoti.
In cases where officers have been posted to directorates or missions, their salaries will be drawn against equivalent vacant posts after codal formalities are completed.
All officers have been directed to assume their new positions immediately and ensure a smooth handover.
