SRINAGAR: An unexploded mortar shell was discovered and safely defused in a forward village near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu’s Akhnoor sector on Saturday.
Police said that a one mortar shell was recovered from village Dalheri, Khour.
Subsequently, the said shell was safely destroyed by the Bomb Disposal Squad, the officer said. (JKNS)
