SRINAGAR: The J&K Paramedical/Nursing Council, Government Medical College Jammu/Srinagar, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has certified the authenticity of the Desh Bhagat University, a spokesman of the management said.
The Council has issued an office circular no. JKPMC/OUTSIDE/728-739 dated 20-5-2022, mentioning that Desh Bhagat University had submitted the requisite approvals from UGC and other competent authorities for running the degree courses.
“The J&K Paramedical/Nursing Council has also accepted that Desh Bhagat University has been approved by the UGC under relevant Act(s), rules, and norms, allowing degree certificates to be awarded to genuine and authentic candidates,” the spokesman said. “Desh Bhagat University has been declared qualified.”
Earlier, the spokesman said J&K had admitted under RTI that Desh Bhagat University has fulfilled all the norms. “They have accepted that, as per the policy of J&K, the paramedical council shall register the paramedical and nursing students (degree/diploma/certificate) of Desh Bhagat University (Mandi Gobindgarh),” he added.
