Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front has called for a one day strike on Friday February 22, 2013 against the “judicial murder” of Mohammad Afzal Guru. A meeting of JKLF presided over by acting chairman advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt, decided that the protest against the hanging of Mohammad Afzal Guru will continue.
“The strike will also emphasize on the People’s demand that the dead bodies and mortal remains of Mohammad Maqbool Butt and Mohammad Afzal Guru be handed over to kashmiri’s , so that they are buried in martyrs graveyard with religious honor,” a statement of the JKLF said.
It added that the strike call has also been given to protest against the killings of innocent four kashmiris including a woman from kulgam.
