SRINAGAR: The government has approved the release of a 20 percent Dearness Allowance (DA) for Jammu and Kashmir Road Transport Corporation (JKRTC) employees as part of its commitment to improving staff welfare.
“As approved by the Board of Directors of JKRTC in its 87th meeting held on 16th August 2024, sanction is hereby accorded to the release of 20% Dearness Allowance in favour of the JKRTC employees working in regular pay band/scales,” the order reads.
The previous DA rate of 139% has been increased to 159%, effective from 01.08.2024.
