In an embarrassment to Hindu Nationalist Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) , the state unit of the BJP on Friday hoisted the Indian flag in an upside down manner at their headquarters here in summer capital in connection with August 15 activities, witnesses said.
“However, the flag was in upside down manner and it caused major embarrassment leaders,” they said.
Meanwhile, the State spokesperson of BJP, Khalid Jehangir, told GNS that the party has taken strong note of the incident. “I was not present there due to illness. But we have taken strong note and strict action would be taken after investigations,” he said.
