Referring to 2010 civilian killings, Omar, in his tweet, maintained that he “ensured that his mistakes were not repeated”.

Another Tweet, which Omar had retweeted,  mentioned government action last mid-night in which it clamped down on local print media seizing thousands of printed newspaper copies which ready to be distributed. It arrested staffers of a few printing presses and disallowed distribution of any newspaper.
