Islamic University of Science and Technology on Wednesday suspended classwork after the intense clashes broke out between the protesting students and government forces, demanding justice for the 8-year-old Kuthua girl.
As per the reports government forces reacted by firing tear smoke shells on the protesting students, thus stopping them from coming out of the campus.
So to avoid any untoward incident, university authorities suspended the class work for a day.
Till the last reports came, clashes were going on the campus.
