Authorities on Wednesday ordered the closure educational institutions in parts of district Islamabad following the encounter and clashes in Khudwani village of Kulgam district.
An official said that “all educational institutions shall remain closed today in Islamabad town, Dialgam, Mattan and Bijbehara areas of district Islamabad.”
The encounter broke out on Tuesday night in Wani Mohalla of Khudwani village, so far one army man has been killed while two other have sustained injuries and a civilian Sharjeel Ahmed Sheikh, a local resident was also killed during the clashes near the encounter site.
